Mr. Hamed Kazim

Hamed Kazim is a UAE National and a graduate of the University of California, San Diego. He joined Arthur Andersen in the Washington D.C. office and obtained his CPA qualification with high distinction in 1986.Hamed has worked as a partner in Arthur Andersen and later as the Managing Partner of Ernst & Young in the UAE.During 1999-2000, Hamed was seconded to TECOM/Dubai Internet City, precursor to Dubai Holding and DU, as advisor to start up the project and later, as co-CEO.
During 2003 to 2006, Hamed initially advised and, later, formed Dubai World. In his capacity as Group CFO, Hamed helped turn the Group into a large conglomerate. He was also heavily involved in studying new business segments for the Group both in Dubai and internationally, mainly the U.S., Europe and East Africa. During that time, Hamed also represented TCO (precursor to Dubai World) on several boards including Tamweel, Nakheel, Istithmar, PCFC, Kerzner International in the US, Hyflux in Singapore, SpiceJet in India and Inchcape Shipping Service in the UK. Hamed was also a leading team member of acquisition of P&O in 2005.
Hamed left Dubai World after completing his mandate to establish the Group and set up Investment Corporation of Dubai where he evaluated many different models and practices of SWFs such as Temasek, GIC, Khazanah, Norway’s, etc.
Hamed served on the board of ESCA (Emirates Securities & Commodities Authority) for 5 years until 2010.Hamed currently has his own consultancy practice focusing on business advice directed at the CEO and board level. He advises several clients in the UAE and is a board member of Commercial Bank of Dubai and several investment and Asset Management companies in DIFC and is a senior advisor to multinationals such as PwC, RBS, Alix Partners, Oliver Wyman and others.

Ibrahim Moosa Jamel is Director of Operations for the Education Cluster of TECOM Investments.Ibrahim has more than 22 years of experience in Human Resources Management covering various fields of the HR profession in some of the largest and most dynamic public and free zone sector organizations in Dubai, Dubai Municipality (DM) and TECOM (Education Cluster).
The scope of Ibrahim’s experience covered various aspects of HR in Dubai Municipality and is currently in one of the most dynamic and reliable semi government groups, TECOM Investments, running the operations of higher education and HRM cluster.
Ibrahim holds a Master’s Degree in Business, majoring in Human Resource Management from Queensland University of Technology, Australia and a bachelor degree in Business Administration from EWU, USA.
Ibrahim is a results, efficiency and quality-oriented professional who believes in the strategic and knowledge management role of Human Resources in achieving the business objectives and strategies of an organisation.
Mr. Abdulrahman Saqr

Saqr is a big believer in UAE National talents, and has overseen and driven many initiatives launched to attract more Emiratis to a career in the banking and financial sectors which he has continued to champion within Al-Futtaim Automotive. He has won a number of awards and accolades in the fields of HR and Emiratisation initiatives in the UAE. Abdulrahman Saqr is responsible for driving and managing Emiratisation strategy throughout his comprehensive work experience. His strived in attracting qualified UAE nationals, designing, launching and managing training programmes to enhance the skills of UAE youth, guiding Emirati employees, in addition to keeping track of their performance by interacting with them and their managers on a regular basis.
Saqr holds a BS in Instrumentation and Control Engineering from Indiana State University in the US. Previously, Saqr took on several senior positions across various companies in the UAE before his current role as HR Director at Al-Futtaim Automotive, including Executive Advisor of UAE Business and Strategic Affairs at Lloyds TSB ME, Associate Director for Corporate Sales, Global Markets at Standard Chartered Bank in Abu Dhabi, Instrumental and Control Engineer at Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Oil Operations (ADCO) in Abu Dhabi, in addition to a variety of leading roles in different fields. Most recently before joining Al-Futtaim, Abdulrahman Saqr had overseen the innovative Emiratisation strategy at FGB through the implementation of a well-executed plan which aims to cultivate the bank’s efforts in supporting the Abu Dhabi’s and the UAE’s economy and development.
